This course is an easy way to learn the extinct Powhatan language. The words used in this course were gathered over the course of three years with extensive research on this American Indian language. Some of these words were lost to history and not recovered until recently. There are very few fluent speakers of this language, and as a descendant of the Powhatan people the instructor strives to provide words that can be used by other descendants of the Powhatan people and others interested in learning the dialect.
